The Back Room And The Bathroom Are Done!
We finished the back room and the bathroom today. We made a real Lost & Found bin. It displays all the sea glass, sea tiles & random things that we've found on all the beaches of Marblehead.
The door to the back bathroom.
What's cooler than shopping in the bathroom? Lots of stuff to look at & buy while you pee.

We're Proud To Carry...
BEEKMAN 1802 GOAT MILK SOAP IS A HANDMADE, UNSCENTED AND CHEMICAL FREE SOAP USING THE MAXIMUM POSSIBLE PERCENTAGE OF PURE GOAT MILK. ITS UNIQUE HIGH BUTTERFAT CONTENT ENSURES THAT BEEKMAN 1802 SOAP IS ONE OF THE MOST MOISTURIZING BARS AVAILABLE, WHILE ITS CHEMICAL-FREE RECIPE MAKES IT IDEAL FOR SENSITIVE SKIN.
The milk comes from The Farm at Beekman Mansion, a recently restored Georgian/Federal estate in Sharon Springs, New York. The Beekman goats graze the land freely and drink the mineral water that once made Sharon Springs the most famous spa destination in the world.
A fine layer of natural ash coats the bottom of each BEEKMAN 1802 bar, which washed away at first use and affirms that the bar is made by hand using only chemical- free ingredients.
BEEKMAN 1802 was founded by Dr. Brent Ridge and Josh Kilmer-Purcell, who are committed to producing seasonal artisanal products using the most natural methods possible.
We're Getting There...
Today, Bob from Sullivan Construction came in to fix our ceiling.
And then, after more painting, we took the kids to Abbott Hall to see this...

Moving Right Along...
Today we focused on the floor and the back bathroom. Jay, the floor guy came in and sanded all the junk off the floor and then put the 1st coat of poly on. It looks really cool. We also painted the back bathroom.
Maggie, Executive VP of the key chain division waiting for her instructions.
This is rarer than a bigfoot sighting. Nick actually scrubbing a floor. It only lasted 30 seconds, but we'll take what we can get.
Jay, the floor sander.

We continued to strip away to expose more of the original hard wood floors and we left some of the original tile we found underneath. Tomorrow we sand the floors and finish the stairs.

Pictures Of The Store In Progress.
We ripped up one carpet up and found this. Very happy.
Ripped the carpet off the stairs and found this cool, green tile.
To get to the hardwood floors in this room we first had to get through a carpet, padding, tar paper, plywood, Pink & black floor tiles & more tar paper.
